MUSICAL THEATRE CLASSES at SUMTER LITTLE THEATRE

From Sumter Little Theatre: “Our new Musical Theatre classes for students will be led by Lynnea Aillery, Music Director for "Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical" and "9 to 5: The Musical. Lynnea's group classes focus exclusively on singing with an emphasis on musical theatre. Students will learn proper singing technique in the theatre style (belts, mixed belts, etc.), some history of musical theatre, various repertoire, singing in duos and trios, and will prepare a final showcase. They will have weekly presentations of their song of choice with feedback from Lynnea and their peers. •
Classes begin Feb. 19 and will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Thursdays (grades 2 through 6) and Fridays (grades 7-12). Classes are $125 per student and run for eight weeks.”
